Health-Focused Partner Agencies
Our commitment to health is reflected in the diverse range of agencies we support, each playing a vital role in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being:
- Contact Helpline and Reassurance Calls: Provides 24/7 crisis intervention and daily check-in calls for elderly or disabled individuals living alone in Choctaw, Clay, Lowndes, Monroe, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Webster, and Winston counties.
- Safe Haven of Columbus: Offers shelter and support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault across 10 counties, including Lowndes, Oktibbeha, Clay, Monroe, Choctaw, and Webster.
- Sally Kate Winters Family Services: Provides shelter and support for children and youth experiencing crises due to abuse, neglect, family violence, or homelessness, serving Clay, Lowndes, Oktibbeha, Monroe, Noxubee, and Chickasaw counties.
- The Salvation Army: Delivers emergency assistance, including rent and utility support, food boxes, clothing, and prescription aid, to individuals and families in need.
- Helping Hands: Provides immediate assistance with food and financial needs to families facing temporary emergencies in the Columbus area.
- Bully’s Pantry (Mississippi State University): Addresses food insecurity among students by providing essential food items and resources to those in need on campus.
- Starkville Strong: Focuses on combating food insecurity, homelessness, and housing instability through community advocacy and support services in Starkville.
- HOPE Family Enrichment Center: Addresses food insecurity and provides holistic services to improve social, psychological, academic, and vocational outcomes in rural Noxubee County.
