A teacher sleeping in her car. Families without a place to call home. These are real needs in our communities. Together, we can be part of the solution.
Imagine teaching children all day, then sleeping in your car because you have nowhere to call home. That is the reality of a teacher right here in our community.
And she is not alone. Families with children are facing homelessness, food insecurity, and needs that too often fall through the cracks.
Our community partners are working to provide solutions, but no single organization can meet every need. We need more resources, more partnerships, and more people willing to help.
That is why we created $12 for 12.
For$12 a month for 12 months—or more, you can join others across our seven counties in helping United Way and its community partners respond to real needs.
We can shake our heads at the problems, or we can come together and be part of the solution.
Will you be one of the 12?
