Dr. Yvett Roby is a Licensed Professional Counselor, nonprofit executive, and community leader with more than 20 years of experience serving individuals, families, and communities across Mississippi. She is passionate about improving access to mental health care, strengthening nonprofit organizations, and creating meaningful partnerships that improve lives.
She is the Founder and Executive Director of HOPE Family Enrichment Center, Inc., where she leads initiatives focused on food security, education, and community wellness. She also serves as Owner and Clinical Director of Harris Counseling & Consulting Services, providing trauma-informed psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and professional consultation.
Dr. Roby has secured more than $1 million in federal and state grant funding and provides training and consultation on trauma-informed care, survivor advocacy, and organizational development. She proudly serves as Mississippi's State Representative for the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA).
Her clinical credentials include being an EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDR Approved Consultant, and EMDR Trainer in Training. She is also trained in Brain spotting and Internal Family Systems (IFS), reflecting her commitment to helping individuals heal from trauma.
In addition to her professional work, Dr. Roby serves as President of NAMI Northeast Mississippi, is a member of the Mississippi State Department of Health Public Health Advisory Board and serves on the Board of Directors for Six Dimensions.
