12 for 12 brings United Way of the Golden Triangle Region and our funded community partners together around one simple idea: when our community gives together, we can do more together.
A commitment of $12 a month (OR MORE) for 12 months helps build the resources that United Way invests in local organizations working every day to strengthen our communities. Together, we are addressing needs in education and literacy, health, financial stability, food security, and other critical areas across our seven-county region.
This is more than a United Way campaign. It is a community campaign. Our partners are helping tell the stories, open doors, bring people together, and invite new supporters to join us.
Why 12 for 12? Why Now?
Across our communities, families are working hard and still facing difficult choices. The cost of everyday necessities continues to stretch household budgets, while the organizations people turn to for help are being asked to do more.
Our community partners see those needs every day. They help feed families, support children, strengthen households, respond in times of crisis, connect people to resources, and create opportunities for a stronger future.
We do not have to wait for someone outside our community to solve every challenge facing our neighbors. We can come together and invest in the place we call home.
That is what 12 for 12 is about.
$12 may feel small. But when our community gives together, small, consistent investments become resources our local organizations can put to work right here at home.

Your 12 for 12 investment helps United Way of the Golden Triangle Region support local organizations working throughout our seven-county region, which include Clay, Choctaw, Lowndes, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Webster and Winston Counties.
Through our community investment process, resources are directed toward programs addressing critical local needs, including education and literacy, health, financial stability, food security, and thriving communities.
When you invest in 12 for 12, you are not investing in just one need or one organization. You are helping strengthen a network of local partners working together to create greater impact across our communities.

12 for 12 was intentionally designed to make giving accessible.

For some, $12 is the commitment. For others, it may be the starting point. Either way, when people throughout our community choose to participate, individual gifts become collective impact.
You do not have to make a large gift to be part of something meaningful.

Our 12 for 12 campaign is underway now, and we are asking our community to make its commitment by November 6, 2026. You can commit today and choose when your monthly investment begins. Your first gift does not have to be made today. What matters now is making the commitment.
